Randi Kay Anthony – Hip Hop Randi started her dance career at the tender young age of 5. After that first year of ballet, she knew that this was what she was going to be doing for the rest of her life. After 13 years of training at various studios, attending many dance conventions and competitions and traveling to NYC and LA to train at the top named studios, she made her move to Chicago. Living in Chicago she became a member of both the hip hop groups Phormations and Prevail. She has also worked with Anthony Wolf and Adrian De La Cruz who are two of Chicago’s top Hip Hop Choreographers as well as worked as an assistant to Glenn Douglas Packard, who has choreographed for such artist as Michael Jackson, Mya, Pink and Usher to name a few; and is currently Brooke Hogan’s Choreographer. After performing numerous shows, as well as assisting the directors of the groups, she decided it was time to take her experiences back to Michigan. Once she moved back, she started doing choreography for companies around Lansing, Detroit, and Michigan State University. As she continued on with her choreography goals, she decided to start her own dance company and that is...Absolute Funk. |
